Thanks, Cindy; there was a bright overcast sky that produced great reflections. And Heather I've read also that it is edible, but I'm suspicious of its palatability: it's a bit slimy.
A naturalist giving a school tour said that dollar weed is actually edible, as well as dandelions, but that there was a way they had to be cooked for people not to get upset stomachs. Dollar weed is the main component of many lawns in the sandy Florida Panhandle.
