Field Notes

Description:

Herbaceous plant, small white flowers with long "whiskers".

Habitat:

Tropical lowland of South East Asia. This plant grows in my apartment's landscaping.

Notes:

Well known traditional medicinal herb used to combat kidney problems such as kidney stones and diabetes. Also helps lower blood pressure. I've never needed it, so I don't know what it tastes like!
