Description:

This lovely moth had a wingspan of 4.5 cm (1.8 inches). Considering where he was, he looked like a beautiful fridge magnet! :-)

Habitat:

Hills overlooking Manila.

We've all helped spread it Ann. A search on Google gives BrisbaneInsects and Project Noah as the main occurrences. After checking older logs I found it first in 2004 but I was stunned to find it had got into Wikipedia and EOL !! I guess it's one of the risks of the web to go with the benefits. Thanks.
Thanks Mark! Wow, it's a typo that's pretty widespread... and I helped spread it :-(
I believe this name should be Looper not Lopper. It comes from a family of Looper moths and is an obvious 'typo' that is getting out of control on the internet.
