wonderful insight, I believe you're spot on as well, thanks for the info.
I am going to go out on a limb here and guess this is a Red-tailed Hawk. They were first discovered in Jamaica giving the meaning behind the scientific name - Buteo jamaicensis! I believe this is a juvenile! Great shot!
