Description:

A very easy to observe butterfly, overall orange with black spots. The underside has very accented differences between male and female. <br>

Es un lepidóptero muy fácil de observar en la naturaleza. El cual se caracteriza por tener una coloración general naranja, con diseños y manchas negras. En su faz inferior hay diferencias notorias entre el macho y la hembra en cuanto a diseño.

Habitat:

Often found resting on the ground. The genus Yramea is found only in the Andes and south temperate region of South America. It remains somewhat of a biogeographic enigma, but recent phylogenetic work promises to shed light on the evolutionary history of this group.<br>

Se le puede encontrar en una gran diversidad de ambientes, casi siempre posada en el suelo. Su distribución comprende la provincia de Santiago hasta Magallanes.
