Description:

This prickly visitor was in my garden munching contentedly on my Morning Glory vine. Even though I shooed him away the following morning the vine was stripped bare of leaves.

Very very cute ! your stone cat obviously did not scare him away :) Well done - sorry about your plants though.
Your spotting has been nominated for the Spotting of the Week. The winner will be chosen by the Project Noah Rangers based on a combination of factors including: uniqueness of the shot, status of the organism (for example, rare or endangered), quality of the information provided in the habitat and description sections. There is a subjective element, of course; the spotting with the highest number of Ranger votes is chosen. Congratulations on being nominated!
That's pretty awesome to get one in your yard! Great photos :)
Thank you James ~ last night he was in my Rose of Sharon tree, and he brought a friend. A lot of porcupines this year!
