Field Notes

Description:

Small bird. Sparrow-like grey on back of head and wings. Thin white band above eyes. Yellow colour near the vent, and much of the breast.

Habitat:

El- dorado eco-resort on Havelock Island...it is perched on one of the cottages.

Notes:

It had rained heavily and steadily through the night, thanks to Cyclone Hudhud. This bird came out during a short break in the rain. I got just one shot because the humans came out too; in large numbers.
