Description:

Bloom approximately 3.5-4 inches across. Cactus tall and cylindrical, around 4 feet high.

Habitat:

In garden in Davis, California.

Ah, you are right, your cactus is rounded. Beautiful photo!
The flower is certainly similar to those of Cereus peruvianus, but the cactus itself looks different. I'm pretty sure that my flower belongs to the Cereus genus at least. Thanks for the help!
Those look like cereus peruvianus cactus flowers.
