Pale nape nails it as Cooper's.
this is a great pic of a coopers hawk from ID point of view. Look at the tail. It ends in an almost 2 inch band. Which sets this hawk apart from others.
Nice photo...great capture!! It's either a Cooper's Hawk or a Sharp-shinned hawk.
