Field Notes

Description:

White/grey tinged butterfly with 2 distinct spots on both wings.

Habitat:

Literally 20-30 of these all getting around the wild blackberry bush , on the rivers edge. Also been in my garden again , past week.

Notes:

The Cabbage White is a common garden inhabitant. It is an introduced species and the larva relies on our introduced plants for food.
