Rachael. This is possibly an anthela moth. Woolly caterpillars and leaf mimic moths. Here is a similar one (not same) with typical two dots on wings but I cannot find yours yet. http://www.flickr.com/photos/dhobern/5106051409/ Antennae may differ a lot between males (feathered) and females (slim).
