Field Notes

Description:

Tan spider with dark markings. Carapace slopes upward toward abdomen. Carrying it's eggs in a silk sac.

Habitat:

Found in my workshop on a piece of metal roofing.

Notes:

These spiders sneak up on their prey at night. When close enough they spit two threads of silk from their poison glands in a zig zag pattern over the prey.
