Field Notes

Description:

Take a close look at the belly, it looks yellow, but I think its because its carying a full load of pollen. Going for the flowers of Piscidia piscipula, a very atractive species for tons of bees and other pollen loving bugs.

Habitat:

Tropical forests. This is in the garden of my house, which is near some fragmeted forest and farms (and the city too).

Notes:

I though it was a honey bee until I saw the picture on my computer.
