Field Notes

Description:

Long neck, powerful limbs, and a long laterally compressed tail. Sides of head neck and throat cream with prominent mesh like black reticulations. Grows up to 2.4m

Habitat:

Arid regions of Australia near rocky outcrops but also found in vast tracks of sand dunes.

Notes:

Found crossing the road
