Field Notes

Description:

Looks like a hanging debris collection. I knew it was a sunbird's nest because I have seen these earlier. It helped that the next time I glanced at it, the adult bird was sitting in it with its beak (and one eye) peering out.

Habitat:

Just outside the dining room of the resort we stayed in. Gated property right next to a Tiger-reserve.

Notes:

We saw 5 tigers too-but to me this is also an equally interesting encounter. Therefore, exact coordinates not given.
