Field Notes

Description:

Red on crown and breast band, yellow throat, green streaked breast, black eye stripe and submoustachial stripe. Small size, sings at dawn.

Habitat:

Seen on tree out back door most days at dawn, calling and flitting around with others of his species. Common resident throughout SE Asia.

Notes:

Lifer! Fun to watch just after dawn.
