Field Notes

Description:

An open straggly shrub about 2 m high with sprays of bright well-exposed flowers. Leaves were stalked, slightly egg-shaped and toothed.

Habitat:

Spotted in a reserve. Grows in a variety of habitats from damp to moist soils.

Notes:

Food plant for caterpillars. I've also frequently spotted bug nymphs on these bushes. <br>
