Field Notes

Description:

Abd. 23-24 mm, HW 15 mm. Head labium is pale yellow; labrum, genae, base of mandibles and anteclypeus yellow; postclypeus, frons and vertex reddish brown. Prothorax and thorax are olivaceous with golden sheen on dorsum. Abdomen is bright red throughout except side iof segment 1 and the ventral surface of all yellowish; inferior anal appendages with a thick robust spine projecting back from their middle. Female is very similar to the male, but paler rather yellow, with reddish tint on segments 8-10. Distribution: Myanmar Thailand, Malaysia to Java.

Habitat:

Dragonflies are found all over the world. In Michigan there are 114 species

Notes:

I found a dragonfly while i walking in ntun school and then i meet it when it hold on the leaf.
