Description:
(Wikipedia) The "typical" orb-weaver spiders (family Araneidae) are the most common group of builders of spiral wheel-shaped webs often found in gardens.Its have eight similar eyes/legs hairy or spiny and no stridulating organs.Orb-weaving spiders are three-clawed builders of flat webs with sticky spiral capture silk. It's sizes are about 2-3cm(female), 1.5-2cm(male).

Habitat:
Orb weaving spiders make suspended, sticky, wheel-shaped webs. Webs are placed in openings between trees and shrubs where insects are likely to fly. It's built large, strong, vertical orb webs. Generally, the spider constructs its web in the evening and takes it down again at dawn. The spider rest head-down in the center of the webs, waiting for prey.
