Field Notes

Description:

Common animal in our area. Found these baby rabbits in our garden in one of our raised beds. They will grow up and eat our plants, but we don't care. Date 19 April 2012, 13 may added a young one that has gotten bigger, note the nasty tick at the base of the ear.

Habitat:

Lives in burrows. Vegetable eater, pest to gardeners.
