Not much else from afar, Dominik, other than it appears to be diseased/parasitized. Larry, Eueides aliphera (as do other Heliconiini genera) has an entirely different-looking pupa . . .

Thanks Early. Great info. I shot photos of various Fine-Lined Longwings - Eueides aliphera gracilis...maybe this was one? I also have some caterpillar shots from the same area which also may be from the same genus and/or species which I have yet to post.

But not Heliconius charithonia, doris, erato, sapho, sara (which look different), or other Heliconius not found locally. BTW . . .
