Description:
It's the first time I encountered C.cornucopioides, it's somewhat hard to spot them at first due to their color and shape, they hide very well among all the leaves on the ground, but once you find one you'll start to see these pretty mushrooms everywhere, apparently these mushrooms are found in groups that cover a wide piece of ground.
Habitat:
The part of Belgrad Forest where I found these mushrooms has mainly beech and oak trees mixed with other broad leaved trees. I found them a bit downhill close to a water stream.
Notes:
Other common names: The Black Chanterelle, Black Trumpet or Trumpet of the Dead.
