That would be the one :) I was just trying to see what come up with information for New Zealand. We call them Masked Lapwings, Plovers or 'argh run there's a crazy bird attacking me'. I have had a few run ins with these birds during breeding season.
May be it is closer to a masked plover: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Masked_Lapwing Sorry the quality of the picture is so low, it was pretty far.
