It is a small butterfly with black and orange patterns on the wings with a white border.The butterfly can be resting and basking on the grass.The butterfly is in the family nymphlidae/ Brush footed butterflies.

Habitat:

Semi-urban, Fort Worth, Texas.

Notes:

This butterfly is found in most of North America and Central America.This one was a male.
