Field Notes
Description:
About 3cm tall. Endemic to Australia and one of the carnivorous plants. It use the sticky "tentacles" on its leaves to trap insects. The "tentacles" will curl over the prey once its reached the centre of a leave and triggered the mechanism.
Habitat:
Dry Eucalypt forest, mainly Marri and Jarrah.
