Field Notes

Description:

Large for a garden lizard. Almost double the girth of what I see back home on mainland India. Body shone silvery/white as the pair raced through the grass.

Habitat:

Patch of wasteland where many species of birds were either perched on trees or were actively foraging. On Port Blair Island.

Notes:

I doubt this is Calotes varsicolor because of its size...but maybe it is. Please help.
