Field Notes

Notes:

This macaw is a captive bird when I spotted it while walking at Santa Monica Pier in Los Angeles. The owner was also taking a walk at the pier with two other macaws of different colors but I only managed to take a photo of this one.

Please list where this spotting occurred in the habitat box. Thanks
I love the colours of these birds...The beak and look always - the few times I have been near one, that is to say - make me hesitate about getting too near though.... In Iguazú falls there is a reserve where the birds sort of "play" with the people suddenly flying near the people, and people shout, and one bird after the other does that....interesting thing to pass time in a cage, I guess... Great picture too, by the way =).
