Description:

Small, 3 cm of size moth bearing a snout....

Habitat:

Hypena proboscidalis inhabits mostly halfshady and more often humid Urtica fringes in and on the edge of woods, hedges, streams and other places. Hypena proboscidalis occurs even in urban areas.
