Amber Jelly Fungus

An edible jelly fungus known to grow on smaller fallen branches throughout the colder months. These translucent harvestables can be cooked in various ways (although, when frying, they like to pop, so be careful.) They can dry completely out and reemerge after a rain, but when foraging, the much smaller dry bits can be picked and brought home to be submerged in water, where they plump back up to full size.
