Description:

This picture was taken at the Birds of Prey Center during a course for teachers. The center is a rehabilitation site primarily for birds of prey. This vulture was injured and is now used for educational purposes.

Notes:

These birds are uniform black except for white patches on the bottom of their wingtips. Their flight pattern is a flap, flap, flap, flap, flap, soar .... pattern.
