Field Notes

Description:

Cream coloured lizard, common in houses. The onset of winter is also the time when many butterfly life cycles come to an end. This Common Evening Brown butterfly https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/944356010
was not just drawn to the light (the two white structures like an = sign in the photo)....it also kept fluttering ON the lizard and attempted to perch on its nose. Talk about a death wish!

Habitat:

This one met its doom framed by tube lights atop the machine we use to punch out after work.
