Field Notes

Description:

Medium sized plant with fronds 1-5 feet. Sterile plant salks have ovate leaves. Spore bearing fronds are erect and are cinnamon-colored.

Habitat:

Swamp area bordering salt marsh. Gardiner County Park, New York.
