Field Notes

Description:

Land planarian of variable length and width; 45 mm and 2 mm respectively when measured. Light brown or beige with narrow black and dark brown longitudinal stripes and broad black head, apparently mounting two eyes of some sort, though that may be an optical illusion.

Habitat:

Suburban neighborhood on insular tropical upland plateau.

Notes:

Spotted on the underside of a plastic plate in my backyard.
