Description:

A West Australian native with bright red, hairy buds that open into 6 petalled greeny-white star shaped flowers.

Habitat:

Seen growing in the Melbourne Zoo.

Notes:

They occur natively only in the southwest of Western Australia in a variety of habitats and soil types.
