The only other similar sparrow found in Florida at that time of year is the Nelson's Sparrow. It lacks the white throat stripe. I have seen savannahs perched this way before also.
Savannah sparrow is my first impression as well, but hard to be sure
Added 2 more jamie. Possibly female red-winged blackbird?
probably Savannah sparrow but i really can be sure from this perspective. any other photos?
