Trillium species with unusual twisted petals.
Height: 10 to 15 inches
Flower/fruit: Chocolate-red flowers; waxy recurved petals are horizontal and twisted
Flowering Season: Spring
Foliage: Whorl of marbled leaves
Site: Rich, deep woods

Habitat:

Stillhouse Falls Hollow, Tennessee.
