Wallflower Orchid

Lovely erect orchids about 50 cm tall. The flowers ranged from 20 mm to 30 mm across. The median sepal was broad, erect or leaning forward and greenish-yellow with tinges of red. The lowere sepals were more green in colour, narrow, rolled and pointing down either to the sides as in pic 1 or crossed as in Pic 2. The stalked ovoid petals were held open laterally and were a paler yellow than the sepals. The median petal or lip had three lobes - the lateral lobes pointed sideways also tinged with red. <br>
Pale green leaves were tufted and erect.
