Description:

A resident intertidal species with homing behavior. Adults are found in shallow rocky shores to 6 m. They feed on benthic invertebrates. Eggs are hemispherical and covered with numerous sticky threads that anchor them in the algae on the nesting sites. Larvae are planktonic which occur primarily in shallow, nearshore waters. <br> <br>
Una especie intermareales residente con el comportamiento hogareño. Los adultos se encuentran en las costas rocosas poco profundas a 6 m. Se alimentan de invertebrados bentónicos. Los huevos son hemisféricos y cubiertos de numerosos hilos pegajosos que les anclan en las algas en los sitios de anidación. Las larvas son planctónicas que se producen principalmente en las aguas costeras poco profundas,.

Habitat:

Costa rocosa de cabo de Palos a orillas del Mar Mediterráneo.
