Description:

Previously described by Paul Brock as Pinnispinus harmani, the genus was later reclassified to Ommatopseudes.
Very small specie, Females grows up to around 30 mm and Males around 20 mm, although not the smallest Phasmids in the world, but it definitely is among the smallest!
This specie has a jurassic look with a row of Spines running down its back from the thorax to abdomen.
Both Males & Females have a pair of ear-like appendages not on its head, but its Thorax..

Habitat:

High altitude tropical forest

Notes:

This specie is endemic to Cameron Highlands, particularly to the higher altitude or between 1,400 - 1,700 masl but only to certain part of Cameron Highlands only.
