Field Notes

Description:

Maybe about two feet long

Habitat:

Desert scrubland

Notes:

Seen in the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area. Only the second snake seen on my trip to Arizona, I was super excited to see this one. Sadly, it quickly slithered into the brush, affording me this single picture. My efforts to flush it back onto the trail were unsuccessful.
