Field Notes

Description:

Leaves - oval shaped with sharp tip about 3-7 cm in length
- typically deep green in colour, however this tree is suffering from Aspen Rust and Inkspot.
Bark - pale green/grey with a large oval canker infected on the East side of the stem.

Habitat:

- The Olds College Botanical Garden - Phase III
- Located on the North/West side in the garden. 75 feet from a wetland

Notes:

- Base is covered in bark mulch
- logged into HisTREE
