I think the host plant is a Heliconia.
Interesting one, but I cannot help you at the moment, I have no IDea. Reminded me at first sight of Prothysana felderi, a Bombycidae, but a closer look shows it is not this one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prothysana_felderi Any IDeas of the host plant?
I think picture 2 - 4 are pictures of the same one. They are from a different spotting one day later.
