Field Notes
Description:
Dark, with undulating wavelike edges on shell.
Habitat:
This was at least 12 feet away...vertical separation. It was on the jetty's pillar and I was on the jetty squinting to understand its outline. Crabs, chiton and strange mudskipper-like fish were all over it.
Notes:
The shell looks quite eroded on top...wonder if that is normal.
