Leaf beetle
Paropsis bella (or P. porosa?)
-37.7357, 145.27
Field Notes
Description:
This pale leaf beetle is sometimes common on eucalyptus.
It has regular puncturation over the entire elytra and the pores filled in black. The base yellow/green color on the skirt and pronotum makes it a rather pretty beetle.

Habitat:
Common on eucalyptus saplings along the roadside.
Notes:
I am not sure how to distinguish this from porosa which apprears to be less colorful. The determination of P. bella originates from Chris Reid and is likely to be correct.
I am playing with a new macro lens MP-E 65mm for Canon used for this shot.
