Field Notes

Description:

This cricket has a body length of 1" and antennae length of 1". It may be in one of the last nymph stages as it does not look like the majority of the adults I have seen in the area.

Habitat:

Tropical dry forest in NW Costa Rica. Encountered at the beginning of the dry season after six months of rain.

Notes:

This shot was taken at night near an HID light. Gryllidae
