Description:

A large green Death's-head Hawk moth caterpillar, spotted foraging on a tree tobacco (Nicotiana glauca), near Iolkos settlement (suburb), Volos city, Greece. Acherontia atropos is a very common Greek moth species, and is one of the largest moth species that occure in the country.
