Field Notes

Description:

Females larger than males though the males in breeding are bright yellow in color. A black head stripe begins at the snout and passes through the yey and narrows to pass over the tympanum to the shoulder where it breaks into a series of spots on the flanks.

Habitat:

Rainforest and sclerophyll forests. Males tend to be near water where as females are found far away from a water source.

Notes:

Found a few females at Cedar creek falls.
