Field Notes

Description:

A very small dolphin with a rounded dorsal fin. This is the first time I have seen this dolphin in the Marlborough Sounds. Other times I have seen this dolphin are limited to various locations around Banks Peninsula.

Habitat:

Coastal marine

Notes:

- I do not yet know how to distinguish this from Maui's dolphin
