Field Notes

Description:

Brown wading bird with white speckles that cluster on the neck, long yellow bill, black legs and large feet with long skinny toes.

Habitat:

Smamp/marsh at Lettuce Lake Park

Notes:

These 3 juveniles were peeping pitifully for mama who stood at a distance urging them across the weeds.
