Jamie is correct. Common Yellowthroat.
i don't think so its got a weird darkish area by the eye and resembles this female common yellow throat very much. http://www.lloydspitalnikphotos.com/v/warblers/common_yellowthroat/common_yellowthroat_F5R0706.jpg.html
Bill seems long for a yellowthroat. How about a female yellow warbler?
How about a Pine Warbler? http://identify.whatbird.com/obj/320/_/Pine_Warbler.aspx
Thanks, Leuba. Hopefully our north American members will be able to help with the ID, I am much better at identifying southern African birds!
Absolutely lovely. I love everything about this bird. Also beautifully photographed Kate. I hope someone can ID him/her. Thanks.
